Organizing and decluttering
Caregivers will help the client inventory and organize their possessions, either simply to pare down or to prepare for downsizing or a move. Staff will ensure sentimental and valuable items are properly stored or arrange for rehoming to a family member or friend.
Your Own Home maintains relationships with cleanout specialists, appraisers, charities, and resale shops to aid in the process.

Client Stories
"Consistent and reliable care, trustworthy employees, and an unb"elievable willingness to go the extra mile. In other home care providers you might get one of these qualities, with your team’s operation you receive all and then some. You have given us a gift much larger than simply peace of mind."
-William
"I couldn't have done without this caregiver. My mother thrived much longer than expected. I owe much of this for not only the level of care but also the agency knowing my needs. I would highly recommend Your Own Home to others."
-Ann
"As the Alzheimer’s disease began to take its toll on both of our parents, you and your staff treated both our mom and dad with respect, kindness, compassion and the capabilities needed to help us care for them. You and your staff are the best."
-The Johnson Family
"Our parents receive the caregivers undivided attention; their meals are catered to their specific needs; their home is kept tidy and they are able to stay in their own home. Knowing that they are being well cared for in a safe, familiar environment has made this transition so much easier for all of us. Thank you Your Own Home. You have become a vital part of our family."

About Us
Your Own Home, LLC is a Wilmington, DE-based company servicing New Castle County, DE. We have been in business since 2004 and strive to provide an alternative for seniors that allows them to age in their homes. While Your Own Home, LLC is an independently owned and managed business, it is a part of a larger national network called Companion Connection Senior Care which is a national membership organization of non-medical home care agencies. All members have access to recognized experts in the field of home care, as well as the most current educational resources.
The owner of the organization, Gina Deney, began this business as a result of her own experience trying to manage the care of her aging parents while living states away.
“I quickly came to the realization that there is a huge gap today in living options for seniors. Many are still in good health and want to remain independent yet are beginning to need more support and care as they age. What compounds the situation is that we don’t plan ahead, but first deal with this situation at a time of crisis. I feel strongly that this is a generation that has made major contributions to our society and they have earned the right to age with dignity. “
